About the Role
We invite applications from suitably qualified candidates for the position of Head, Quality Assurance / Quality Control Officer. This is a strategic leadership role responsible for establishing and maintaining comprehensive quality management systems across all production operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Draft and implement quality assurance policies, procedures, standards, and specifications
- Evaluate the adequacy of quality control standards and ensure products meet specified requirements
- Oversee daily activities of QA/QC supervisors and team leads; recruit, hire, and train quality assurance personnel
- Devise sampling procedures and establish directions for recording and reporting quality data
- Review the implementation and efficiency of quality and inspection systems
- Plan, conduct, and monitor testing and inspection of materials and products to ensure finished product quality
- Lead quality assurance requirements on the production floor as a certified quality manager
- Supervise and lead teams toward improving development systems within production lines
- Monitor customer satisfaction with external suppliers
- Conduct strategic planning to enable the company to operate more effectively
- Develop and onboard certified quality manager (CQM) capacity to maintain and implement the company's quality management systems (QMS)
- Evaluate and develop new techniques for reliability and quality control of processes and products
- Establish procedures and analyze data to ensure quality and reliability of all production outputs from all production lines
- Analyze quality data to identify areas for system improvement
- Assess customer requirements and ensure they are met
- Direct quality objectives to maximize profitability
- Declare product safety status and ensure compliance with specified quality standards
- Document internal audits and quality assurance activities, including production assembly line inspections and customer service surveys
- Investigate customer quality concerns and complaints
Required Qualifications
- Certified Quality Manager (CQM) certification or equivalent
- Proven experience in quality assurance and quality control management
- Strong knowledge of quality management systems (QMS) and international quality standards
- Leadership and team management experience
- Data analysis and process improvement expertise
- Customer focus and strategic planning abilities
