Head of School Recruitment

Position Summary

Glowfield International School in Lagos, Nigeria is seeking an experienced, visionary and results-driven Head of School to provide strategic leadership and oversee the academic and administrative operations of the school. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving educational excellence, staff development and overall school growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide strong academic and administrative leadership across the school
• Oversee the effective implementation of Montessori, Nigerian and British curricula
• Ensure high standards of teaching, learning and student performance
• Lead, mentor and supervise academic and non-academic staff
• Develop and implement school policies, procedures and strategic plans
• Foster a positive school culture and maintain strong relationships with parents, staff and stakeholders
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and accreditation requirements
• Manage school resources efficiently and promote continuous improvement

Required Qualifications and Experience

• First Degree in Education or First Degree in any discipline with a Postgraduate Diploma in Education (PGDE)
• Minimum of 15 years of cognate experience in the education sector
• Proven experience as a Head of School
• Demonstrated hands-on experience with Montessori, Nigerian and British curricula

Desired Qualifications

• Master's degree and/or relevant professional certification
