Head of Risk Management

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Head of Risk Management to lead our risk management team and establish a robust risk framework that aligns with our strategic objectives. The ideal candidate will have a comprehensive understanding of risk assessment methodologies, regulatory requirements, and risk mitigation strategies.

You will work collaboratively across departments to identify, evaluate, and mitigate risks, ensuring the long-term sustainability and success of the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a comprehensive enterprise risk management framework
• Lead the identification, assessment, and monitoring of risks across the organization
• Collaborate with senior leadership to integrate risk management practices into strategic planning and decision-making processes
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards related to risk management
• Prepare and present risk reports to the executive team and board of directors
• Foster a risk-aware culture across the company through training and communication
• Oversee the development of risk mitigation strategies, contingency plans, and crisis management protocols
• Manage a team of risk management professionals, providing guidance, support, and professional development opportunities
• Monitor business development for emerging credit risks and recommend policies and procedures to improve the credit risk management process
• Maintain oversight of the organization's enterprise credit risk management activities
• Conduct periodic stress tests and scenario analysis, assessing risk impact and making appropriate recommendations to senior management
• Develop and implement policies and procedures to reduce credit risk of the organization
• Build and maintain financial models for risk assessment purposes
