Head of Quality and Patient Safety at Cedarcrest Hospitals

About the Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated professional to lead quality and patient safety initiatives at a healthcare organization in Lagos, Nigeria.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a comprehensive hospital-wide quality and safety strategy
• Lead internal audits and coordinate accreditation readiness (e.g., ISO, JCI, COHSASA)
• Drive quality improvement initiatives across clinical and operational units
• Oversee incident reporting, risk management, and root cause analyses
• Monitor key performance indicators related to safety, compliance, and patient outcomes

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Medicine, Nursing, Public Health, or a clinical field (required)
• Master's degree in Healthcare Administration, Public Health, or Quality Management (preferred)
• Certification in Quality Management or Patient Safety (e.g., CPHQ, CPPS) is highly desirable
• Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in healthcare quality and safety
• At least 3 years in a senior leadership or head-of-department role in a hospital setting
• Proven track record of successful accreditation preparation and quality improvement program management
