We invite applications from suitably qualified candidates. Position Overview:
  • The Head of Procurement is responsible for overseeing and managing the organization’s procurement strategy, processes, and activities to ensure timely, cost-effective, and quality acquisition of goods and services.
  • The role ensures compliance with company policies, supports operational efficiency, and drives value through strategic sourcing and vendor management.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with organizational goals.
  • Oversee sourcing, negotiation, and purchasing of goods, materials, and services.
  • Manage supplier relationships, including evaluation, selection, and performance monitoring.
  • Ensure cost optimization while maintaining quality and delivery standards.
  • Review and approve purchase requests, purchase orders, and contracts.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, ethical standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with finance, operations, and project teams to support business needs.
  • Manage procurement budgets and monitor expenditure.
  • Identify risks in the supply chain and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Lead, train, and supervise procurement team members.
  • Prepare and present procurement reports to management.
Required Qualifications: & Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Professional certification (e.g., CIPS, CIPSMN) is an added advantage.
  • Proven experience in procurement or supply chain management, with leadership responsibility.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and vendor management skills.
  • Good understanding of contract management and sourcing best practices.
  • Proficiency in procurement systems and Microsoft Office tools.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and decision-making skills.
