## Title: Head of Nursery School

Job Summary

We are seeking an exceptional and innovative educational Christian leader to join our dynamic team as the Head of Nursery School. The successful candidate will have expert knowledge in childcare, child safety, and protection, as well as a deep understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.

This is a unique opportunity to lead and develop our nursery provision, inspiring a team of educators to deliver high-quality care and education to our youngest learners.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the nursery team, providing guidance, support, and coaching to ensure the team delivers high-quality care and education
  • Develop and implement nursery policies aligned with the EYFS framework that promote a safe, inclusive, and nurturing environment
  • Ensure safeguarding and child protection by maintaining a safe and secure environment and adhering to all child safety and protection policies and procedures
  • Develop and implement a curriculum aligned with the EYFS framework that meets the needs of our children
  • Develop and implement systems to track children's progress and identify areas for support and development
  • Foster strong relationships with parents and the wider community, promoting the nursery school and its values
  • Ensure the effective use of technology in the nursery, including digital tools and resources to enhance teaching and learning
  • Monitor and evaluate the quality of nursery provision, identifying areas for improvement and development

Requirements

  • Degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field
  • Qualified teacher status (TRCN) or eligibility for certification
  • At least 4 years of previous experience in a nursery setting
