Head of Internal Audit at Ama-Zuma Group

About the Role

We are seeking a qualified and experienced professional to lead our internal audit function. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive internal controls and audit strategies across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and carry out the internal controls function, including preparation of audit manuals and audit plans
• Conduct risk assessments across all departments
• Provide recommendations for improving organizational operations
• Evaluate compliance with existing policies and procedures
• Identify areas of strength and weakness, and engage in continuous education and staff development regarding best practices
• Review responses to internal and external audit management letter queries to ensure recommendations are implemented and all action items are resolved
• Evaluate information security and associated risk exposures
• Evaluate regulatory compliance programs
• Assess the organization's readiness in case of business interruption
• Provide support to the company's anti-fraud programs
• Perform other duties as reasonably requested

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree, HND, or Master's Degree
• 15-20 years of work experience
• Proven work experience in the same role
• Ability to bring innovative ideas to the organization
• Age not exceeding 50-52 years

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in the telecommunications sector
