Position Overview

Job Purpose

• Arrange intervention funds and loans at optimal cost for the Group to ensure operational continuity
• Provide financial guidance and strategic support to the company's executive team
• Lead financial planning and analysis efforts, budget management, and financial reporting
• Ensure the company's financial operations comply with all applicable laws and regulations
• Keep management informed of matters affecting the financial status of the company
• Manage and oversee the company's financial systems

Roles and Responsibilities

• Lead the finance team and ensure the department runs effectively, efficiently, and in compliance with regulations and company policies
• Liaise with transaction advisers, review loan documents, provide necessary documentation, and prepare monthly interest reconciliation reports
• Review cash reports and management accounts ahead of monthly meetings and provide guidance where necessary
• Work with different businesses and companies within the Group on budget preparation and cash flow projections for banks and management action
• Collaborate with Heads of Accounts on month-end closure and postings, and prepare funding plans to ascertain working capital requirements and determine the financial needs of the business
• Achieve companies' short-term, medium-term, and long-term objectives such as issuing Commercial Papers/Bonds and preparing companies for IPO
• Monitor and provide funds for day-to-day operations including payments for raw materials, operational expenses, and salaries
• Work with process owners to establish and maintain financial policies and procedures
