Position Overview
We invite applications from suitably qualified candidates for the role of Head of Contracts. The successful candidate will manage the compliance requirements of the Contracts entity and ensure adherence to company policies, applicable laws, and regulations.
Key Responsibilities
Compliance and Policy Management
- Verify that the company's contractual policies and applicable laws and regulations are adhered to, particularly regarding ethics and transparency
- Participate in the preparation of contract procedures
- Ensure compliance with company standards and partner agreements
- Apply and respect tender process procedures and ensure team compliance
- Implement the Company's Global Procurement (TGP) directives within the team
Operations and Leadership
- Lead and organize the Field Operations/HSE/CAPD Contracts entity
- Organize and control the purchase of services function as a managed daily process
- Supervise and ensure appropriate, transparent, and justified strategies on matters presented to Contracts Committees
- Coordinate workload within the Field Operations/HSE/CAPD Contracts Engineers workforce
Process and Continuous Improvement
- Establish and promote continuous improvement of contracts practices, procedures, and reference documentation
- Coordinate processes with métier partners and technical managers
- Manage contract processes correctly, including receiving requests, organizing calls for tender or requests for quotation, and evaluating offers
- Communicate best practices and lessons learned to TGP on contractual matters
Personnel and Competency Management
- Manage Contracts personnel in cooperation with métier partners, respecting local constraints and synergy action plans defined by TGP
- Ensure the maintenance of necessary competency levels for service procurement realization
- Assist métier partners with all contractual activities
