Head of Contracts at International Energy Services Limited (IESL)

About the Role

We invite applications from suitably qualified candidates for the position of Head of Contracts at International Energy Services Limited (IESL) in Lagos, Nigeria.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage compliance requirements of the Contracts Entity
• Verify that company contractual policies and applicable laws and regulations are adhered to, particularly regarding ethics and transparency
• Participate in the preparation of contract procedures
• Ensure compliance with company standards and partner agreements
• Apply and respect procedures in the tender process and ensure team compliance
• Implement Company's Global Procurement (TGP) directives within team and technical teams
• Lead and organize Field Operations/HSE/CAPD Contracts entity activities
• Organize and control the purchase of services function as a managed daily process
• Supervise and ensure appropriate, transparent, and justified strategy on subjects presented to Contracts Committees
• Establish and promote continuous improvement of contracts practices, procedures, and reference documentation
• Coordinate team and triplet processes with partner teams and technical managers
• Coordinate workload within the Field Operations/HSE/CAPD Contracts Engineers workforce
• Manage contracts personnel in cooperation with partner teams, respecting the reference system, local constraints, and synergy action plans defined by TGP
• Ensure maintenance of necessary competency levels for service procurement
• Communicate good practices and lessons learned to TGP on contractual matters
• Assist partner teams with all contractual activities
• Manage contracts processes correctly, including receiving requests/scope from requesting entities
• Organize calls for tender or requests for quotation
• Evaluate offers in collaboration with requesting entities
