The Opportunity
As Head of Commercial, you will drive the commercial strategy and growth of Hempawa Consult. This is a high-impact leadership role where you will own revenue generation, lead business development initiatives, and build strategic partnerships that shape the company's market position.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute commercial strategies that drive revenue and profitability
- Identify, negotiate, and close high-value business opportunities
- Forge and manage strong relationships with corporate clients, partners, and stakeholders
- Deliver actionable insights and competitive analysis that inform strategy
- Mentor and lead a high-performing commercial team
What We're Looking For
- Experience: 5+ years in sales, business development, or commercial leadership in fintech, tech, education, or financial services
- Track Record: Proven ability to consistently meet and exceed targets
- Strategic Mindset: Strong ability to design and execute ambitious growth strategies
- Relationship Skills: Exceptional communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management abilities
- Market Knowledge: Familiarity with the Abuja market and ability to leverage local opportunities
