Head of Business at Synapse Services

About the Role

Synapse Services is expanding its dynamic team and seeking a strategic leader to drive business development across multiple organizations within our consortium. You will coordinate growth initiatives, provide leadership to business development teams, and develop comprehensive strategies to increase revenue and market penetration.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate business development activities across multiple organizations in the consortium and provide guidance and supervision to business development officers in each organization
• Define and develop strategic plans for all business development activities, ensuring alignment with each organization's vision, mission, and long-term goals
• Conduct continuous market research to identify business opportunities and competitive advantages aimed at increasing sales, revenue, and market dominance
• Set appropriate business targets and goals for each business entity in line with overall corporate vision
• Provide commercial and strategic input into business operations to increase performance and ensure business targets are met
• Identify innovative tactics, develop corresponding business plans, and establish sustainable operations to drive revenue and volume growth
• Oversee the preparation, review, and submission of proposals and client contracts
• Develop an in-depth understanding of all company offerings, including products, services, and value propositions, and continuously expand this knowledge
• Pitch products and services to prospective customers, conduct presentations, negotiate, and close deals
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual sales and business development reports; perform planned versus actual target analysis and measure performance against appropriate KPIs and metrics
• Conduct quarterly comparative analysis of service lines to identify underperforming products and services, and develop optimization strategies
• Work with the marketing and social media team to leverage online platforms and digital channels for business growth
