Head, Liability Generation / Fund Manager

About the Role

CashBox is recruiting a Head of Liability Generation / Fund Manager to lead and build our liability generation department. You will be responsible for achieving the company's overall liability generation targets while overseeing team management and ensuring the financial stability and growth of our funds under management and liability portfolio.

This is a full-time hybrid position based in Victoria Island, Lagos, with flexibility for remote work arrangements.

Key Responsibilities

• Source funds and investments according to established timelines
• Maintain and develop the organization's liability generation network
• Set up and host client meetings to achieve targets
• Manage and nurture relationships with company clients
• Lead and manage the liability generation team

Requirements

• First Degree or HND in any discipline
• Minimum 3 years of professional experience in Liability Generation, Deposit Mobilization, Funds Mobilization, or Investment Mobilization in Non-Bank Financial Institutions, Microfinance Banks, Asset Management Companies, or Finance Houses
• Proven track record of success in the field
• Excellent data management skills
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities
• Robust professional network within the financial services industry
• Highly driven with demonstrated passion for sales
• Ability to thrive in fast-paced, complex environments and adapt to change
• Professional sales or customer service training/certification (advantageous)
