Job Summary

The Head, Investment Research is responsible for leading the firm's research function, providing strategic insights, market intelligence, and investment recommendations that support the firm's asset management, investment banking, and advisory decisions.

This role involves driving the research agenda, overseeing macroeconomic and company-specific analyses, producing high-quality reports, and ensuring that all investment decisions are grounded in robust research and data-driven insights.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and direct the firm's investment research function
• Drive the research agenda and strategic direction
• Oversee macroeconomic and company-specific analyses
• Produce high-quality research reports
• Provide strategic insights and market intelligence to support asset management, investment banking, and advisory decisions
• Manage and mentor research teams
• Ensure investment decisions are grounded in robust research and data-driven insights
• Influence investment strategy through research insights

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting, Statistics, or related field
• Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in investment research, macroeconomic analysis, or capital markets
• At least 3 years in a supervisory or leadership capacity managing research teams
• Proven experience producing research reports used in investment or policy decision-making
• Strong track record of influencing investment strategy through research insights

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree or MBA with Finance or Economics specialization
• Relevant certifications such as CIS or ACA, or equivalent
