Head, Enterprise Risk Management

Job Purpose

We are seeking a qualified professional to establish, implement, and enforce a robust enterprise-wide risk management framework. The successful candidate will assess the company's risks and the efficacy of its risk management efforts, ensure regulatory compliance, and develop policies, processes, and tools to manage financial and non-financial risks while ensuring the bank's operations are conducted within acceptable risk parameters.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and enforce risk management policies, including Credit Manual, Anti-Money Laundering (AML) Manual and Policy, and monitor policy compliance. Provide independent review of proposed business plans with identified risks to the Board Risk Committee and Executive Committee
• Manage a comprehensive AML Compliance program in line with local regulations and internal policy requirements; report regularly to Board Audit Committee on AML matters
• Develop and maintain an enterprise-wide risk management framework, including policies, processes, and tools for managing various types of risks (strategic, operational, market, liquidity, credit, and compliance risks)
• Identify, assess, and monitor risks across the bank's operations. Conduct regular risk assessments and stress tests to evaluate the bank's risk exposure
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations. Monitor and report on compliance with risk management policies
• Prepare and present risk management reports to senior management and the Board. Provide insights and recommendations based on risk assessments
• Develop and deliver training programs to enhance risk awareness and promote a risk-conscious culture within the bank
• Oversee the investigation and resolution of risk incidents. Implement corrective actions to mitigate future risks
• Work closely with other departments to ensure a coordinated and integrated approach to risk management across the organization
