Graphics Design Officer at Fiphs Infrastructure Limited

About the Role

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Graphic Design Officer to join our team in Abuja. The ideal candidate will bring ideas to life across both digital and print platforms, ensuring strong visual consistency and alignment with the company's brand identity.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with internal departments on design briefs, advising on proposal style, format, print production and timescales
• Prepare rough drafts and final layouts based on agreed briefs
• Review final layouts, mark and paste up finished copy and art, and suggest improvements as required
• Liaise with external printers regularly to ensure deadlines are met and materials are printed to the highest quality standards
• Ensure proper operation of equipment by completing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting malfunctions, and maintaining equipment inventories
• Evaluate and recommend new equipment as needed
• Maintain technical knowledge by attending design workshops, reviewing professional publications, and participating in professional societies

Required Qualifications

• B.Sc. in Communications, Graphic Arts, or a related field
• Minimum of 3 years' experience in graphic design, preferably in advertising or promotional design
• Proficiency in CorelDraw and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.)
• Solid understanding of design principles, layout, typography, and color theory
