Grants & Proposal Development Associate at Rise Networks

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Grants & Proposal Development Associate to join our dynamic team at Rise Networks. The ideal candidate will support the end-to-end grants management process, from identifying funding opportunities and preparing compelling proposals to monitoring project deliverables and ensuring compliance with donor requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Research and identify new grant and partnership opportunities from foundations, corporations, and development organizations
• Prepare, review, and submit high-quality grant proposals, concept notes, and reports
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date grant tracking systems, including deadlines and deliverables
• Support budget preparation and ensure alignment with project objectives and compliance standards
• Collaborate with program, finance, and communications teams to gather relevant data and impact metrics
• Build and maintain strong relationships with current and potential donors
• Monitor active grants, ensuring timely reporting, evaluation, and renewal processes
• Contribute to the development of strategic fundraising plans and institutional proposals

Qualifications and Skills

• 2–4 years of proven experience in grant writing, fundraising, or donor relations (preferably in a non-profit or development organization)
• Exceptional writing, editing, and research skills
• Strong understanding of proposal development, budgeting, and reporting standards
• High level of accuracy, organization, and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with CRM or grant management tools
