About the Role

Eastern & Western Hospital seeks an experienced and dedicated General Manager to provide strategic leadership and administrative direction across all hospital departments. This role combines operational oversight with strategic planning to ensure quality healthcare delivery, optimal patient satisfaction, and organizational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership and administrative direction for all hospital departments
• Oversee daily operations to ensure quality healthcare delivery and optimal patient satisfaction
• Develop, review, and implement operational policies, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and performance improvement initiatives
• Maintain full compliance with healthcare regulations, accreditation standards, and safety protocols
• Manage budgets, financial planning, cost control, procurement, and resource allocation
• Lead, mentor, and evaluate departmental heads and administrative teams to promote efficiency and accountability
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and operational excellence across all units
• Strengthen administrative processes, workflow systems, documentation, and reporting structures
• Coordinate effectively with clinical and nonclinical units to ensure seamless service delivery
• Represent the hospital in stakeholder engagements, regulatory meetings, and external partnerships

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Management, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's degree is an added advantage)
• Minimum of 7–10 years of progressive management experience in a hospital or healthcare setting
• Strong leadership, communication, administrative, and organizational skills
• Demonstrated experience in hospital operations, budgeting, and regulatory compliance
• Ability to make data-driven decisions, manage multiple priorities, and oversee administrative systems
• High level of professionalism, integrity, and problem-solving ability
