Gas Plant Manager

• We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Gas Plant Manager to oversee the daily operations of our gas plant.

• The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing production, sales, distribution, maintenance, and compliance functions while ensuring the highest levels of safety, efficiency, and profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage all day-to-day activities of the plant, including sales, distribution, and maintenance.

• Develop and implement strategies to improve plant performance, reduce costs, and increase operational efficiency.

• Lead and manage plant personnel, fostering a positive and productive work environment.

• Ensure strict compliance with all Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) standards and regulations.

• Oversee inventory levels and manage product flow effectively.

• Establish and maintain strong relationships with LPG depots and refineries to ensure a reliable supply chain.

• Coordinate and implement preventive maintenance programs for plant equipment.

• Schedule and supervise repairs to minimize downtime.

• Manage the plant budget, control costs, and prepare operational and performance reports.

• Maintain cordial relationships with regulatory authorities, agencies, and the host community.

• Build and expand a strong customer base to drive sales growth and business development.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Petroleum, or Process Engineering (or a related field).

• 3 – 5 years of relevant experience in LPG or gas plant operations, with supervisory or managerial exposure.

• Strong knowledge of LPG plant operations, distribution processes, and HSE standards.

• Proven leadership and people management skills.

• Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.

• Strong business acumen, including budgeting, sales, and performance reporting.

Salary & Benefits

• Salary: N180,000 monthly
