Furniture Carpenter (Production Line)

A reputable organization seeks a dedicated individual for this role. Job Purpose To fabricate furniture frames and wooden components accurately, efficiently, and according to approved specifications within a line-production system. Key Responsibilities:

• Cut, assemble, and join wood components according to drawings

• Build sofa frames, beds, tables, wardrobes, and carcasses

• Use machines and hand tools correctly and safely

• Ensure measurements, squareness, and joint strength meet standards

• Sand and prep wood surfaces for upholstery or finishing

• Maintain clean and organized workstation

• Reduce material waste and report defects immediately

• Meet daily output targets assigned by supervisor

• No loose joints or structural weakness

• Zero deviation from approved dimensions

• Smooth surfaces ready for next production stage

Required Skills & Experience

• Proven carpentry experience (furniture production)

• Ability to follow drawings and specifications

• Machine handling knowledge
