About the Role

Kaplo Africa is seeking a qualified Fund Manager to develop and execute investment strategies, manage portfolios, and drive growth across multiple asset classes in Lagos, Nigeria.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute winning investment strategies across multiple asset classes
• Manage existing funds and drive portfolio growth with strong analytical and risk-management skills
• Conduct deep market research, financial modelling, and performance analysis to guide investment decisions
• Build and maintain relationships with investors, stakeholders, and financial partners
• Provide clear, data-driven reports and recommendations to management and clients
• Ensure compliance with global financial standards and internal governance procedures

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Fund Manager, Portfolio Manager, or Investment Manager with a strong track record of results
• Relevant professional qualifications (e.g., CFA, ICAN, ACCA, CIS, or MBA Finance)
• Strong international exposure with travel experience outside Africa—essential for understanding global markets and investor expectations
• Excellent understanding of capital markets, fund structures, investment vehicles, and risk analysis
• Exceptional communication, leadership, and stakeholder-management skills
• High sense of responsibility, professionalism, and ethical conduct
