Fuel Pump Technician at Smartflow Technologies Limited

About the Role

We are seeking a qualified Fuel Pump Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and safe operation of fuel pumps and sewage treatment systems at various sites.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on pumps and sewage treatment plants
• Carry out on-site work, ensuring timely job completion while adhering to all safety protocols
• Draft reports and communicate effectively with the lead technician through designated channels
• Complete jobs within agreed timeframes and coordinate with both in-house and client personnel
• Relay all updates and site issues efficiently to relevant team members through appropriate communication channels
• Ensure installation, maintenance, and operation of all equipment meets company standards and quality requirements
• Maintain complete and proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times on site
• Maintain tools in good working condition and report any faulty equipment to the team lead
• Demonstrate a complete understanding of all assigned jobs and devices within your role
• Adhere strictly to the company's occupational health and safety policies and guidelines

Requirements

• Minimum of SSCE (Senior School Certificate Examination)
• Successful completion of a relevant apprenticeship program
• At least two years of proven experience in fuel pump maintenance and installation at retail filling stations
• Must reside in Owerri
