Job Summary
We are seeking a personable and competent front desk officer to serve as the first point of contact for visitors and clients. In this role, you will ensure a warm, professional, and efficient reception experience across one of our Lagos branches. The successful candidate will manage front office operations, maintain a welcoming ambience, coordinate client traffic, and support the firm's customer relationship objectives through effective communication and service excellence.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Warmly welcome and attend to all visitors, clients, and vendors, ensuring a professional and positive first impression
- Manage front office traffic, attend to walk-in enquiries, and direct visitors appropriately
- Handle telephone, email, and in-person inquiries courteously and provide accurate information
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming reception area; ensure conveniences are clean, stocked, and well-maintained
- Coordinate with support staff to ensure adequate supplies and report maintenance needs promptly
Required Qualifications and Experience
- B.Sc. in Business Administration, Mass Communication, or related field
- 3–5 years of experience in a front desk, client service, or administrative role
- Experience in a professional services firm is an advantage
Skills and Competencies
- Excellent organizational, time management, and multitasking skills
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills with strong command of the English language
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM tools
- Problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
- Customer service orientation
- High level of integrity, professionalism, confidentiality, and attention to detail
