Key Responsibilities

• Plan and prepare lessons that follow the curriculum and meet the educational needs of students, adapting teaching methods to cater to different learning styles and proficiency levels
• Assess, monitor, and record student progress through various evaluations, assignments, and homework
• Provide constructive and timely feedback to help students improve
• Set high expectations, motivate students, and promote their overall progress and well-being
• Teach the cultural aspects of French-speaking regions to provide a well-rounded understanding of the language and its associated cultures
• Maintain a positive and engaging learning environment and manage classroom situations effectively
• Communicate with students, parents, and other educators, including attending parent-teacher conferences
• Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development
• Stay current with teaching methodologies and educational trends through professional development opportunities

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in French or Education
• Teaching license or certification
• 2–10 years of teaching experience
• Mastery of the French language
