Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose faults and perform engine overhauls while ensuring minimal downtime on all material handling equipment
• Apply sound engineering principles to identify root causes of mechanical failures and implement lasting solutions
• Dismantle, inspect, repair, and rebuild forklift engines and components including injection systems, pistons, cylinders, crankshafts, valves, turbochargers, and cooling systems
• Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic and electrical systems (pumps, motors, cylinders, wiring, alternators, etc.)
• Conduct preventive maintenance — oil changes, filter replacements, fluid checks, and system calibrations
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance, repairs, and parts usage

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related discipline
• 5–10 years of hands-on experience specializing in forklift engine repair and overhaul
• Proven expertise in diagnosing and repairing multiple forklift engine types and brands
• Strong mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical troubleshooting skills
• High precision and attention to detail in dismantling and reassembling complex mechanical systems
