About the Role
Rimrock Hotel in Lagos, Nigeria is seeking a qualified Food and Beverage Supervisor to oversee and manage all daily bar operations and staff. This is a key leadership position responsible for ensuring smooth service delivery, operational excellence, and team management.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and coordinate all daily bar operations to ensure smooth service delivery at all times
- Take full responsibility for setting up, staffing, and ensuring the bar is fully operational
- Lead the recruitment, onboarding, training, scheduling, discipline, and performance management of all bar staff
- Supervise bartenders and bar attendants, ensuring strict adherence to duty rosters and operational standards
- Monitor beverage stock levels and conduct daily, weekly, and periodic stock counts
- Ensure accurate requisition, issuance, stock documentation, and inventory reconciliation
- Prevent stock losses, wastage, pilferage, and unauthorized sales through effective controls
- Ensure proper cash handling, POS usage, and end-of-shift cash reconciliation
- Enforce high standards of hygiene, safety, and compliance with all operational policies
- Handle guest inquiries and complaints professionally and promptly
- Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and management operational reports
Requirements
- HND qualification with 2–3 years of experience as a Bar Supervisor or Senior Bartender
- Strong leadership and supervisory skills
- Good knowledge of beverages, bar operations, and stock control
- Ability to work under pressure and manage shifts effectively
- Basic record-keeping and numerical skills
- Integrity and accountability
Compensation
N70,000 - N100,000 per month
