A top employer is now accepting applications for this role. About the Role We are seeking an experienced and proactive Fleet Manager to oversee and optimize our delivery vehicle fleet. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring fleet safety, compliance, cost efficiency, and maximum vehicle availability to support daily parcel operations. Key Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day fleet operations, including vehicle acquisition, allocation, and disposal

• Plan and oversee preventive maintenance and repairs to minimize downtime

• Ensure compliance with road transport, safety, and regulatory requirements

• Monitor fuel usage, vehicle performance, and driver behavior

• Control fleet budgets and identify cost-saving initiatives

• Liaise with service providers, insurers, and suppliers

• Maintain accurate fleet records and prepare performance reports

• Develop and enforce fleet, safety, and driver policies

• Support delivery teams to ensure operational efficiency

Requirements:

• Proven experience in fleet management, logistics, or transport operations

• Strong knowledge of vehicle maintenance and compliance regulations

• Experience managing budgets and external vendors

• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills

• Proficiency in fleet management software and Microsoft Office

Desirable Skills and Qualifications

• Relevant fleet or transport certification (advantageous)

• Experience in courier, parcel delivery, or last-mile logistics

• Knowledge of telematics or GPS tracking systems

• Leadership or supervisory experience
