Fleet and Logistics Supervisor at ESOSA Food System

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the routine maintenance, repairs, and licensing of the entire delivery fleet (bikes)
• Plan and optimize daily delivery routes using logistics software to minimize delivery time and cost, especially for time-sensitive, perishable goods
• Manage the scheduling and dispatch of drivers and riders from the hub for last-mile delivery
• Recruit, train, and supervise a team of drivers, riders, and dispatch personnel
• Ensure proper handling and loading of baked goods, strictly maintaining the cold chain or specific temperature requirements during transit to prevent spoilage
• Coordinate with hub supervisors to ensure orders are ready and accurately matched for dispatch
• Track key performance indicators (KPIs) including On-Time Delivery (OTD), delivery success rate, and logistics costs per order
• Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for all logistics functions to improve efficiency and reduce errors
• Manage relationships with external equipment providers, mechanics, and fuel suppliers as needed

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or Higher National Diploma (HND) in one of the following fields:
  • Logistics & Supply Chain Management
  • Business Administration
  • Transport Management
  • Operations Management
  • Related field
