Job Summary

The FinTech Engineer & Digital Finance Architect will design and implement digital financial solutions that expand financial inclusion and strengthen financial ecosystems. The role focuses on building secure, scalable systems such as digital wallets, embedded finance platforms, blockchain solutions, and alternative lending models tailored to underserved markets.

Educational Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or related field
• Master's degree (advantageous)

Experience

• At least 5 years of professional experience in fintech engineering or digital finance system design
• Experience with cloud infrastructure, databases, and security-first system design
• Familiarity with donor-funded or financial inclusion initiatives is an advantage

Required Skills & Knowledge

• Proficiency in backend development, API design, and integration
• Knowledge of blockchain, digital wallets, and alternative lending platforms
• Strong understanding of KYC, AML, and regulatory requirements
