The Financial Controller will oversee all aspects of financial management, with a particular emphasis on project cost accounting and reporting for real estate and construction projects. Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and manage comprehensive project cost accounting systems and processes for construction and real estate projects
• Provide detailed financial insights, budgets, and forecasts related to project costs, profitability, and cash flow
• Generate accurate and timely project-specific and overall financial reports, including cost analysis, variance reports, and financial statements
• Oversee the budgeting process for individual projects and the company as a whole, ensuring alignment with strategic goals
• Establish and maintain robust internal financial controls and procedures to safeguard assets and ensure compliance with regulations
• Work closely with internal and external auditors to ensure financial statements are accurate and comply with all relevant financial standards and regulations
• Manage and mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of accuracy, efficiency, and continuous improvement

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Chartered Accountant qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA) is compulsory
• Minimum of 10–15 years of progressive experience in finance and accounting
• Proven experience in project cost accounting, budget management, and financial reporting within a construction or real estate environment
• Strong understanding of project financial lifecycles, from initial budgeting to final cost reconciliation
• Proficiency in financial management software and accounting systems
