About the Role

We are seeking a qualified Finance Officer to join our team in Ikoyi. You will be responsible for managing financial operations, ensuring accurate record-keeping, and supporting strategic financial decisions across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Record, analyze, and prepare regular financial reports
• Conduct regular bookkeeping to ensure accounting accuracy and maintain up-to-date records
• Work with the management team in approving company expenses
• Assist with budget preparation and financial forecasting
• Ensure each operational facility maintains accurate financial data
• Lead the company's relationship with banks and other financial institutions
• Analyze financial data using Quickbooks and other accounting software
• Liaise with external auditors and tax consultants

Required Qualifications

• First degree in Accounting, Banking and Finance, Economics, or a similar financial field
• Proven work experience in accounting or finance
• Advanced proficiency with accounting software (e.g., Quickbooks)
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets

Requirements

• Must reside in Lagos
• Willing to work 23 days per month
• Ability to work on weekends and public holidays as needed
• Agile, analytical mindset with strong attention to detail
