About the Role

A reputable organization seeks a meticulous Finance Officer to manage the company's financial operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, financial reporting, and compliance with Nigerian regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage accounts payable, receivable, and general ledger functions
• Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies
• Prepare and analyze financial statements, budgets, and forecasts
• Oversee payroll processing and ensure accurate payments
• Monitor cash flow and petty cash
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations and support audits
• Conduct internal audits and financial risk assessments
• Support implementation of accounting software and payroll systems

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or HND in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• ICAN/ACCA certification (preferred)
• 2–4 years of accounting experience, preferably in SMEs or startups
• Strong knowledge of Nigerian financial principles and tax regulations
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office
• Excellent attention to detail, analytical skills, and organizational ability

Compensation

Annual Gross Remuneration: 2.4M
