About the Role
We are seeking a qualified Finance Manager to work closely with Executive Management to develop and implement financial strategies for the organization. The ideal candidate will be comfortable handling large amounts of data, acting as a business partner and decision-maker, and providing regular financial reporting to support organizational objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage annual budgets and financial planning processes while assessing the effectiveness of current and prospective service delivery
- Oversee all fiscal reporting activities in compliance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), including organizational revenue/expense and balance sheet reports, as well as development and monitoring of financial commitments
- Develop and maintain systems of internal controls to safeguard organizational financial assets and guarantee the integrity of financial transactions
- Attend Board and Subcommittee meetings as applicable and prepare necessary submissions
- Monitor all banking relationships and activities end-to-end, including lodgment and salary payments, with analysis of bank statements to ensure adequate cash inflow
- Oversee production of monthly business and financial budget reports, including reconciliations with statutory agencies, financial statements, and cash flow projections
- Supervise month-end closing financial activities and provide daily cash position reports
- Manage supplier and vendor account reconciliations
- Oversee all income structures and monthly bank reconciliations across the organization
- Ensure Process Assurance and Compliance standards are maintained
- Prepare accurate monthly salary processing and conduct pre- and post-payroll audits
- Review pension and tax remittances
Requirements
- Strong financial management and analysis skills
- Experience with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)
- Proficiency in financial reporting and budget management
- Knowledge of internal control systems and compliance
- Experience with payroll processing and tax/pension administration
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work with executive leadership and cross-functional teams
