Finance Intern at Five Teams Empowerment Initiative (5TEi)

Job Summary

We are seeking a Finance Intern to provide administrative support to our finance team. You will assist with financial management, budgeting, and accounting tasks while working closely with the finance team to ensure efficient and effective financial operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with financial data entry and record-keeping
• Help with budget tracking and financial reporting
• Prepare financial statements and reports
• Participate in financial analysis and planning
• Assist with financial documentation and compliance
• Support audit preparations and financial reviews
• Ensure adherence to organizational policies
• Ensure proper filing of documents
• Manage petty cash on a day-to-day basis
• Prepare payment vouchers for cash and cheques
• Ensure timely settlement of all undisputed invoices
• Facilitate and assist Finance Officer with cash and bank reconciliation

Required Qualifications

• ND/Diploma or recently completed degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Knowledge of donor regulations and compliance requirements
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and other financial software
• Good communication and teamwork skills
