## Title: Finance, Grants and Administration Manager

Role Summary

The Finance, Grants and Administration Manager is responsible for overseeing financial transactions, maintaining accurate financial records, and ensuring compliance with financial policies and regulations. This role is vital to the organization's financial management and supports decision-making processes by providing accurate and timely financial information.

The Manager will support LSDF management in donor compliance, timely reporting, project document filing, and project management. This position reports to the Country Director.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee all financial transactions and maintain accurate financial records
  • Ensure compliance with financial policies, regulations, and donor requirements
  • Manage grants administration and donor compliance documentation
  • Prepare timely financial reports and support decision-making processes
  • Coordinate project document filing and project management activities
  • Manage payroll processes and collaborate with HR departments
  • Support audit processes and respond to audit management letters
  • Present financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
  • Professional certification (e.g., ICAN, CPA, CFA)
  • 5–6 years of experience in a similar finance or accounting role
  • Previous experience with local and/or international development organizations
  • Proven experience in grants management
  • Strong understanding of financial regulations, grant compliance requirements, and best practices in financial management
  • Knowledge of donor compliance regulations and audit processes

Required Skills and Competencies

  • Proficient in financial software, databases, and MS Excel
  • Experience with cloud-based financial systems (preferred)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to generate financial reports and meet deadlines consistently
  • High integrity and professional ethics
  • Strong supervisory and team leadership skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and collaboration abilities
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision and self-motivation
  • Strong documentation and facilitation skills
