Role Overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated finance professional to join Konga Online Shopping Limited in Lagos, Nigeria. You will be responsible for recording and maintaining accounting records, preparing financial statements, and generating daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare daily sales reports and reconcile ticketer monthly sales with IATA reports
• Confirm all payments into collection accounts and ensure proper cash management
• Process vendor and customer refunds accurately and timely
• Implement and monitor internal control systems for effective financial management
• Post and maintain appropriate ledgers and manage receivable and payable accounts
• Conduct daily review of ticketer reports to ensure revenue assurance
• Compute financial metrics and prepare financial analysis for management
• Monitor business line working capital to ensure good liquidity status
• Prepare and implement financial budgets for the business line
• Collaborate with business heads in implementing strategic financial policies to drive sales

Required Qualifications

• B.Sc or B.Ed in Economics or Finance
• Associate Chartered Accountant (ACA) credential

Required Skills and Knowledge

• Proficiency with accounting software (SAP, Dynamic 365, SAGE)
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including Power Pivot and DAX
• Foundation knowledge of Amadeus systems
• Strong Microsoft Office suite competency
• Excellent problem-solving abilities
• Strong listening and communication skills
• Ability to multi-task and manage competing priorities
