About the Role

A dynamic team is expanding and looking for the right talent to join as a Finance Associate.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and update financial records, ledgers, and accounts
• Perform reconciliations and ensure all financial data is accurate
• Prepare financial reports, statements, and invoices
• Monitor and manage accounts payable and receivable
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies
• Handle billing issues and communicate with clients regarding payments
• Use accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks) and Microsoft Excel to manage financial information
• Support audits and budgeting processes
• Maintain confidentiality and secure financial data
• Collaborate with team members and contribute to process improvements

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
• At least 2 years of relevant experience in an accounting or finance role
• ICAN certification
• Strong proficiency in financial reporting, reconciliation, and accounting software
• Advanced proficiency with QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel
• Advanced mathematical skills to maintain accurate records
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent organisational skills for maintaining clear and meticulous financial records
• Keen attention to detail for ensuring accuracy of records and invoices
• Ability to multitask and manage multiple accounts, invoices, and payments simultaneously
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
