## Title: Finance and Administrative Manager

About the Role

Catering to Africans In Need (CAIN) is seeking an experienced Finance and Administrative Manager to oversee financial operations and day-to-day administrative functions. This is a key leadership position responsible for managing budgets, financial reporting, compliance, and supporting organizational operations across Lagos.

Finance Responsibilities

  • Prepare and manage budgets – Develop annual budgets, monitor expenditures, and ensure alignment with organizational goals
  • Maintain accurate financial records – Record transactions, manage ledgers, and oversee financial reporting
  • Generate financial reports – Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reports for management, donors, and regulatory bodies
  • Ensure regulatory compliance – File tax returns, process payroll, and ensure compliance with statutory requirements (including SCUML, FIRS, LIRS, pension, and other regulations)
  • Manage audits – Liaise with external auditors, prepare audit documents, and implement recommendations
  • Oversee cash flow and bank reconciliations – Monitor bank accounts, manage petty cash, and ensure healthy liquidity
  • Support grant reporting – Track donor funds, prepare financial reports for grants, and ensure proper fund allocation

Administrative Responsibilities

  • Office management – Ensure smooth day-to-day operations of the office, including supplies, utilities, and facilities management
  • Staff support and HR coordination – Maintain personnel records, support employee onboarding and offboarding, track leave, and ensure policy compliance
  • Vendor and contract management – Oversee procurement, manage service contracts, and ensure timely payments
  • Documentation and compliance – Maintain up-to-date organizational documents, licenses, and policies
  • Support leadership – Assist senior management with research, fundraising, strategic planning, program execution, reporting, and evaluation
  • Coordinate logistics – Oversee travel arrangements, meetings, training sessions, and internal events
  • IT and asset management – Track office assets and support basic technology needs or liaise with vendors for technical support
  • Internal communication – Facilitate effective communication across teams to ensure smooth coordination and efficient project and program delivery
