Finance Analyst at Konga Online Shopping Limited

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Finance Analyst to support our financial planning, reporting, and analysis functions. The ideal candidate will possess deep knowledge of financial regulations and reporting standards, advanced data analysis skills, and the ability to communicate complex financial insights clearly to both financial and non-financial stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, analyze, and present accurate financial reports in compliance with applicable financial reporting standards and regulations
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes
• Conduct detailed financial modeling and scenario analysis to support business decisions
• Interpret and communicate financial data to internal and external stakeholders, including non-financial team members
• Track and analyze industry-specific trends, market dynamics, and potential financial risks
• Ensure timely and accurate entries into the Core Banking Application (if applicable) and reconcile discrepancies when necessary
• Utilize Microsoft Excel and financial software tools to manage complex data sets, perform variance analysis, and generate insights
• Develop dashboards and visualizations using Power BI or similar tools to support data-driven decision-making
• Assist in the preparation for audits and ensure full compliance with internal controls and external regulatory requirements
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including operations, product, and strategy to align financial performance with organizational goals

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
• Master's degree or professional certification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CFA) is an added advantage
• Proven experience in financial reporting, planning, and analysis—preferably within the banking, fintech, or financial services sector
• In-depth understanding of financial regulations and reporting standards
