Role Overview

The Field Engineer Trainee provides engineering support and assistance to senior Engineers and Specialists in the field. This is a hands-on training position focusing on ISP operations, industry-specific tools, and services relevant to the assigned business line.

Successful candidates are rapid learners who apply logical problem-solving approaches and demonstrate a strong commitment to continuous improvement.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Provide engineering support for projects in various stages of design, estimating, and installation
• Achieve functional and technical skills required for assigned projects
• Assist in the preparation of bid packages
• Support Project Managers with the preparation and maintenance of construction schedules
• Maintain installation files and logs
• Receive, review, forward, and track the status of submittals and change orders
• Update installation schedules based on project team input
• Track and inspect material deliveries
• Assist in preparation of monthly project status reports
• Attend project and departmental meetings and record meeting minutes
• Assist in planning, preparation, and execution of jobs to design and client specifications with the goal of 100% service delivery

Required Qualifications

• SSCE (Senior School Certificate Examination) with passes in Mathematics, English, and Physics

Location Preference

Candidates should preferably reside in or near the following areas: Lakowe, Awoyaya, Eputu, Abijo, Majek, Sangotedo, or Ogidan.
