About the Role

Entourage Integrated Trust Limited is seeking an objective and detail-oriented Field Auditor to join our team in Abuja-FCT. The ideal candidate will speak and understand the Hausa language and be willing to travel throughout northern Nigeria. You will bring a systematic and disciplined approach to enhance the effectiveness of our risk management, control, and governance processes. The successful candidate will possess thorough knowledge of accounting procedures and sound professional judgment.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and present comprehensive reports reflecting audit results and documenting the audit process
• Act as an objective source of independent advice to ensure validity, legality, and achievement of organizational goals
• Identify process loopholes and recommend risk aversion measures
• Maintain open communication with management and the audit committee
• Document processes and prepare audit findings memoranda
• Conduct follow-up audits to monitor management's interventions and corrective actions
• Travel to different states to conduct auditory reviews and assessments
• Provide qualitative and quantitative evaluations based on empirical data findings
• Identify and provide solutions to the company's internal challenges
• Ensure staff compliance with company policies and regulations
• Maintain current knowledge of sector rules, regulations, best practices, tools, techniques, and performance standards

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Proven working experience as an Auditor in a Microfinance or Lending company
• Advanced computer skills in MS Office, accounting software, and databases
• Proven knowledge of auditing standards and procedures, laws, rules, and regulations
• Sound independent judgment
• Close attention to detail and excellent analytical skills
• Strong aptitude for mathematics
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Keen interest in the financial sector
• Fluency in Hausa language (spoken and written)
• Willingness to travel throughout northern Nigeria
