## Title: Fiber Metro Technician

Job Objective

The Fiber Metro Technician is responsible for all facets of fiber splicing operations, including cable preparation, termination, fusion splicing, testing, and troubleshooting to maintain reliable network infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

Perform splicing, testing, and troubleshooting of fiber sites and links
Document and report on completed work
Maintain project and safety documentation
Inspect fiber routes and cabinets as part of preventive maintenance
Locate faults and mobilize resources within minimal time to address issues
Restore links within the MTTR (Mean Time to Repair) or less, depending on criticality
