Position Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Feed, water, and care for livestock
• Clean animal pens and facilities; monitor animal health and assist during breeding
• Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment
• Clean and organize farm buildings, storage areas, and equipment
• Maintain fences, ditches, and other farm infrastructure
• Assist with record-keeping for animals and crops
• Adhere to safety protocols and health regulations to maintain a safe environment for both animals and workers
• Perform physically demanding tasks and work outdoors in various weather conditions

Job Requirements

• SSCE or OND qualification
• Smart and hardworking attitude
• Skills in operating and maintaining simple farm equipment and machinery
• Flexibility to handle seasonal changes and perform a wide range of tasks as required
• Ability to work well within a team and communicate effectively with supervisors and colleagues
• Capability to identify and address issues on the farm
• Willingness to work long hours, particularly during busy planting or harvesting seasons

Benefits

• Monthly salary: ₦70,000 – ₦80,000 (depending on experience)
