Job Summary

The Factory Warehouse Officer is responsible for the efficient management of warehouse operations within the factory, including receipt, storage, documentation, and dispatch of raw materials and finished goods. The role ensures proper stock control, compliance with safety procedures, and smooth coordination with the production and logistics teams to support uninterrupted factory operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and verify all incoming raw materials, consumables, and finished goods
• Maintain accurate inventory records using manual and digital systems
• Ensure proper labeling, stacking, and organization of materials within the warehouse
• Conduct routine stock counts and reconcile discrepancies promptly
• Monitor stock levels and report shortages or overstock situations to the supervisor
• Prepare and maintain dispatch documents (delivery notes, stock transfer forms, etc.)
• Ensure timely issuance of materials to production in line with requisitions
• Supervise loading and unloading operations to prevent damage or loss
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness, safety, and security standards at all times
• Collaborate with procurement, production, and logistics teams to ensure smooth workflow
• Assist in the implementation of inventory control procedures and periodic audits
• Forecast stock needs based on historical data, demand, and business projections

Qualifications and Experience

• Minimum B.Sc. in Logistics, Business Administration, Supply Chain, or a related field
• At least 3–6 years of experience in warehouse or factory operations (manufacturing environment preferred)
• Good knowledge of inventory management and documentation
• Proficiency in MS Office and/or warehouse management software
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management skills
• Physical fitness and ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
