Factory Electrical Technician at Value Edge Management Service Limited

About the Role

We invite applications from suitably qualified candidates for the position of Factory Electrical Technician. You will be responsible for maintaining and improving electrical systems within a manufacturing environment, ensuring optimal performance and safety compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine electrical maintenance tasks, including inspections, testing, and repairs
• Troubleshoot electrical faults and failures and implement corrective actions
• Design and implement electrical system upgrades and improvements
• Develop and implement electrical maintenance schedules and procedures
• Manage electrical maintenance budgets and ensure cost-effectiveness
• Develop and maintain preventive and predictive maintenance schedules for all equipment
• Plan corrective maintenance tasks, ensuring minimal impact on production
• Coordinate maintenance activities with production, engineering, and safety departments
• Review, prioritize, and assign work orders
• Ensure accurate job plans, including labor, materials, tools, and safety procedures
• Track and update work orders in the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
• Provide training and support to technicians
• Assist other team members in the plant to minimize downtime

Safety and Compliance

• Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards and regulations
• Incorporate risk assessments and safe work practices into all maintenance activities
• Report unsafe acts or conditions in the workplace
• Participate in fire or emergency drills at work
• Participate in incident reporting and investigation when necessary
• Adhere to company policies and integrated management systems (IMS) requirements

Performance Analysis and Improvement

• Analyze equipment downtime, failure patterns, and maintenance costs
• Prepare and present reports on maintenance performance and KPIs
• Participate in Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for recurring equipment issues
• Recommend improvements to maintenance processes and equipment reliability
• Support Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) and other reliability programs

Collaboration

• Collaborate with production teams to ensure electrical systems support manufacturing operations and meet quality standards
