Facility / Shortlet Manager at Swift Consulting

About the Role

Swift Consulting is seeking a qualified Facility / Shortlet Manager to oversee daily operations and maintenance of shortlet properties in Lagos. This role involves managing facility staff, coordinating maintenance activities, and ensuring guest satisfaction through optimal property conditions.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise cleaners, technicians, and other facility staff
• Oversee daily operations and maintenance of all shortlet properties
• Conduct routine inspections to ensure apartments are clean, well-stocked, and in optimal condition before guest check-in
• Coordinate repairs, maintenance, and service requests with vendors and artisans
• Ensure utilities (light, water, internet, gas) are functioning efficiently across all apartments
• Monitor inventory of household items, toiletries, linens, and appliances, and ensure timely replenishment
• Respond promptly to guest complaints, facility issues, and emergency requests
• Develop and implement facility management procedures for improved efficiency
• Ensure compliance with safety, health, and regulatory standards
• Support property setup for new apartments and oversee furnishing and fit-out processes
• Prepare periodic reports on facility condition, maintenance activities, and operational costs

Required Qualifications

• HND or BSc Degree in Facility Management, Engineering, Estate Management, or related field
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in facility management, hospitality, property management, or similar role

Key Skills and Attributes

• Strong supervision, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple apartments and tasks simultaneously
• Good knowledge of basic repairs, maintenance processes, and vendor management
• Detail-oriented, organized, and responsive approach to work
• Proficiency with reporting tools and basic computer applications (a plus)
