Job Purpose
To provide technical support and assurance on civil plant and infrastructure, maintenance and projects. Ensure that fabric designs, specifications and QA/QC programs comply with applicable industry standards for integrity and fitness of purpose. Inspect and maintain existing facilities to statutory industry standards to realize and sustain value for the company.
Principal Responsibilities
- Assist in identifying and developing fabric scope of work for campaigns, turnarounds/shutdowns, and routine activities as directed by the Senior Engineer
- Provide QA support for fabric-related activities on shutdowns, turnarounds and routine maintenance execution to conform to relevant standards and achieve high integrity
- Drive fabric maintenance lessons learnt input in the database and fabric condition and repair history in WIMS and CMMS for all critical tags, highlighting trends to aid modification and planning as part of fabric systems improvement
- Develop and update procedures and work instructions relevant to fabric and other civil work
- Maintain QA/QC records and documents on projects, shutdowns and routine maintenance execution
- Support provision of technical assurance by reviewing comments and steering on concept selections, detailed engineering designs and post design challenge resolutions for maintenance, campaigns, turnarounds and projects
- Deliver high levels of quality and customer support through reviews and timely response to RFI, RFQ, and ERMT requests per SLA requirements
- Proactively identify, intervene and report HSSE issues within and beyond area of influence
- Contribute to Management of Change for fabric systems via design checks to affirm proposed modifications are technically feasible and appropriately detailed, ensuring additional execution and project deliverables such as as-built documentation are updated within approved processes
