Experienced Waiter / Waitress at Hotel Capitol

Job Summary

We are seeking a courteous and attentive Waiter/Waitress to provide excellent service to our guests by taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring a memorable dining experience. The ideal candidate is customer-focused, well-groomed, and able to work effectively in a busy environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome guests in a warm and professional manner
• Present menus and provide detailed information when asked (e.g., about ingredients, special items, or recommendations)
• Take accurate food and drink orders and deliver them in a timely manner
• Serve food and beverages according to service standards
• Ensure guest satisfaction by checking on tables regularly and responding promptly to requests or complaints
• Clear tables, clean dining areas, and reset for incoming guests
• Process payments and issue receipts
• Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and safety standards in the dining area
• Assist other team members during busy periods and collaborate with kitchen and bar staff

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
• Previous experience as a waiter or in customer service
• Basic knowledge of food and beverage service
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure
• Polite, presentable, and professional demeanor
• Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and holidays
