Position Overview

We are seeking a caring, creative, and experienced Nursery School Teacher to join Collins American International Academy - CAIA in Lagos. The ideal candidate will nurture young learners (ages 2–5), helping them develop social, emotional, and academic skills that prepare them for primary school.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons using play, storytelling, music, and creative activities
• Teach basic literacy and numeracy skills in age-appropriate ways
• Foster social skills such as cooperation, sharing, and following rules
• Monitor and assess children's progress, keeping accurate records
• Communicate regularly with parents about their child's development
• Ensure a safe, clean, and supportive classroom environment
• Encourage curiosity, creativity, and confidence in young learners

Education & Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or related field
• Teaching certification (depending on local regulations)
• Additional training in child psychology, Montessori, or special needs education is an advantage
