Role Description
- This is a full-time on-site role for experienced Nurse Midwives at Regina Caeli Specialist Hospital, Awka.
- The role involves providing comprehensive prenatal, delivery, and postnatal care, managing labor and childbirth, and ensuring the health and wellbeing of mothers and newborns.
- Nurse Midwives will also educate patients on maternal and neonatal care, collaborate with doctors and healthcare professionals, and maintain accurate medical records.
- The candidate will play a key role in offering compassionate and culturally sensitive care to patients.
- Proficient in maternal and newborn care, labor management, and postnatal support
- Knowledge of obstetric emergencies and ability to respond effectively
- Strong communication, patient education, and counseling skills
- Skilled in record-keeping and medical documentation
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team
- Nursing Licensure and Midwifery certification are required
- Previous experience in a clinical or hospital setting is preferred
- Commitment to providing compassionate and holistic care
